Music tutoring currently amounts to around two-three hours per week, with the majority of the young people being from beginner to intermediate level. However, we do currently have a couple of accomplished guitar players who enjoy creating their own music.
There is also the possibility of involvement in live jam sessions with the young people, tutors and support workers. There is also the opportunity to support the young people and perform yourself at a variety of different events.
Music tutors are engaged on a self-employed basis and paid directly by Everybody Loves Music CIC. Everybody Loves Music supports their work by arranging timetables and providing opportunities. You can find more about the services we offer here; https://everybodylovesmusic.co.uk/services/
Established as a community interest company in December 2021, Everybody Loves Music is an inclusive program that aims to engage all young people aged 10-30. We focus on helping disadvantaged and vulnerable young people, including those with disabilities, engaging young people in a creative and safe way, whilst prioritizing safeguarding in everything we do.
The Director of Everybody Loves Music, Lizzie Hart, is happy to have an informal chat with anyone interested in the role prior to making an application. Email: info@everybodylovesmusic.co.uk
